  Did you make a new religion for yourself?

  i'm associating with a church that i like very much, however, i find some things hard to digest, like jesus resurrecting himself.

  i think the father did that, not him.

  anyway, i am thinking that i can just keep associating for social reasons and some religious ones while reading the bible and having my own beliefs based on how i understand the bible and not blindly believe doctrine just because a big church teaches it.

  Why choose DA instead of fade?

  i'm having a hard time figuring out if i should da or continue to fade.

  i am doing a lot of the things they could df me for and kind of want to beat them to the punch and quit looking over my shoulder, but i'm afraid that if i da, my grandparents will find out.

  they live in a different state.

  if i dissassociate here, would my jw family who lives 3,000 miles away find out?

  i have no family here.

  would this congregation contact my old congregation 3,000 miles away with news of my dissassociation?

  i could only tell them about protecting the sound system from theives.

  Ever get spanked for pulling your dress up in the meeting when little?

  have you ever gotten slapped and dragged into the back room for a spanking because your mother or father accused you of pulling your skirt up during the meeting?

  i was thinking of the little girls outgrowing their dresses and them becoming so short that it was hard to sit 2 hours with the skirt pulled down over your knees or just above, at the very least.

  my sister's and my dresses were always too short when we sat down and could only keep them pulled down to a decent length when standing, not sitting.

  Difficult to build faith up at church after leaving WTS

  how many of you who decided to remain christian and started to go to church had a hard time building your faith back up again after leaving the wts?

  i'm having a hard time.

  it's been 4 months since i began attending the penticostal assembly of god church in my town, and i love it.

  i might have posted an intro in the wrong place so i will try again.

  i have two kids, a girl and a boy, and am in college full time studying sociology (at least that is what i'm supposed to be doing instead of talking to you.
